    3. John Fuller, 15, came to America in 1635, with his brother, William, 25. John married Elizabeth Emerson and lived in Ipswich, Mass. He was born in 1620 and died in 1666. I've always thought his parents were Roger Fuller and Jane Gowen of Topcroft, Harleston, Norfolk, England. Now I'm being told his parents were William and Sarah Fulller of Chelmsford, Essex, England. Does anyone have proof of who his parents were? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

    3. Hi! I have noticed some Fullers that were of an age to be related to mine. My GGGrandfather was Charles Fuller born 1809 (probably NY) married, Julia Arnold b 1817, Jan 25, 1838 in Copley, Summit Co, Ohio. They had three children that I know of. James Luman born 1838, Marcus Martin b 1840 (my GGrandfather), and Julia Helen (aka Nellie) b 1845. M. M. Fuller married Julia Grout b 1848 (d/o Daniel D. Grout and Mary E. Buck). Nellie married a Carnahan (my gguncle) and the daughter of M.M. and Julia Fuller married Floyd Elmer Carnahan. Any help at all would be great. I have been looking at Joseph as a father of Charles. but that is only because of his living in the area of Ohio. Thanks, Artie Nichols

Transcribed by Jean Best HIRAM A. FULLER, farmer; P.O. Burbank; was born in Onondaga Co., N.Y., Nov. 22, 1830; was the second of a family of six children; three of the number grew to maturity. His parents were AUGUSTUS and EUNICE PERKINS. He was born June 28, 1804, in Bristol, Conn. He was a son of JOHN FULLER. The Fullers and Perkinses are of English descent. EUNICE PERKINS was born Feb. 28, 1802, and a daughter of ELIAS PERKINS, whose wife was a HITCHCOCK. AUGUSTUS FULLER emigrated to this State from Connecticut in 1836, and located in Wayne Co. at a place called Jackson, in Canaan Township, where he purchased 80 acres. Here the elder Fuller resided until his death, which occurred June 28, 1843. His business had been for several years in traveling for the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Connecticut. HIRAM was but 12 years of age when his father died; was then raised by his uncle. After becoming of age, he learned the carpenter's trade, which he worked at some time. Afterward, he was engaged with Howard, Pebbles & Company, and traveled for them four years. He then purchased 83 acres of land in Canaan Township, where he lived three years; then moved to Erie Co. February, 1860, purchased the farm he now owns, situated in the southeast part of Harrisville Township. He was twice married, first Feb. 12, 1857, to AMANDA HIGH, born in Springfield, Ohio, in 1833, daughter of JOHN HIGH, whose wife was a SAILOR by name. Mr. HIGH is of Wayne Township, Wayne Co., parents of Dutch descent, and from Lancaster Co., Penn. She died Dec. 28, 1869, leaving three children, two boys and one girl - DAVID B. SARAH J., died, and FRANK. Nov. 2, 1872, was married to MARY J. BURNS, born in Cannon Township, Wayne Co., Nov. 28, 1843, daughter of EDWIN and MARTHA (McCREARY) BURNS. Has one child - MYRA. He is a member of the United Brethren Church - wife of the Presbyterian Church. His father lost his property by bailing, and HIRAM began poor. He has now a good farm of 100 acres, and one of the best farm residences in the township, and an excellent farmer. --part1_44.31f4bc0.2639fa66_boundary--

    3. Hello "cousins" - My sincere apologies for the message re ISP's. My thanks to all who responded to me personally and sincere apologies to those who objected. I've received a number of complaints - one from a RootsWeb prescanning team - David Pike, in particular - objecting to my e-mail "as not genealogy related". I reminded him that ISP's are how we connect to RootsWeb (to which I used to be a supporter!). At the moment, I've spent 3 days trying to undo a mess that my ISP (MindSpring/Earthlink/etc....) sent me - all my .jpg files have been converted to "LView Pro" files and I cannot update my GENEALOGY website: http:www/mindspring.com/~wcrews/BooksPlus.html since HTML doesn't recognize "LView Pro files" as .jpg files. So anyone who has sent me updates will have to wait until I can get this mess straightened out! And if all else fails, BooksPlus will no longer be available. So much for GENEALOGY!!!! Sorry folks - that's ISP's for you.

    2. For what it is worth, I have used AOL for five or six years and am very happy with them. I now have "road runner" which is a cable connection in Maine and could have free email with them, but decided to keep AOL too. Because I have another ISP AOL is only 9.95 a month. I have probably 125-150 "favorites" that it would take me months to duplicate!

I'm up tonight after having the system folder of the operating system becoming disabled, the internet preferences, translators changed and other problems after the ISP server has dropped in and out for a few (many ?) days OR whatever else that caused my computer's DATA to act this way! It's taken me most of the day. I have lost bookmarks, all addresses and all saved messages, the inbox, the unsent and all other emails that I was going to answer or work on later. 3. Hi cousin's: My apologies in advance - but I know you are a helping lot! I'm having serious problems with my ISP and need to find another provider. I'm currently with Earthlink/Mindspring and downloaded their NEW desktop info and my system has taken a real tumble: defaults were changed and I've spent over 5-6 hours trying to recover! This does tick me of a bit! My question to the cousins out there: Recommend an e-mail provider that's responsible! Recommend an ISP that is responsible! I don't want those "freebies" that dump a lot of banner ads on your page.... I'll pay for quality - if you don't screw up my system! e-mail me directly at : [email protected] And again - my apologies for "off subject" material - but maye it can help others too! Thanks for listening - and sharing!! Bill
