I'm sorry but I do not understand what you are trying to do. Are you finding a census in FTM2014 web search? Are you merging the census using the FTM 2014 web search merge wizard? Are you attempting to Save the census using the Ancestry.com Save to computer option? Please provide some idea as to what you are doing or wanting to do? What does not being able to save a census to an email have to do with your subject, "Is FTM 2014 not ready for Windows 8.1?" I use FTM 2014 with Windows 8.1 all the time and have no problems.
