Robert, Sorry, don't know what you meay by "sync from other sources". The Sync Feature is between FTM2012 and your family file in an Ancestry Member Tree. You might look at the Companion Guide in the Help Menu. If you wish to sync with Ancestry.com, you need to post a tree to Ancestry.com and then sync between your FTM tree and your AMT tree. You cannot sync to anyone else's tree if that is what you had in mind. You can add data from other person's trees in a variety of ways. Could you be a bit more specific as to your intent?
