    3. I still cannot reproduce this problem. I added an individual as a place marker. The up sync added the individual to the AMT and the number of individuals was increased to match what I have in the FTM file. I then deleted that individual. Again the up sync deleted the individual from the AMT and the number of individuals was changed so it matches my count in FTM. Speculating that the actions may be different for a newly added individual than from one who has been in my data base since FTM 6, I deleted a place holder for one of my great great grandfathers. I checked the up sync and he was deleted and the count was changed in the AMT. So there is no difference between individuals added from different versions of FTM. Here is something you can do which may assist you in seeing what is happening. 1. In FTM 2014, delete a couple of individuals. 2. Click Sync Now 3. When the Sync Change Log dialog box opens, Click on the View/Print Detail option. This will list the names of the people who are to be deleted. 4. After the sync has completed, check the AMT count of individuals. Has it decreased by the number of people who were deleted? You might even want to print a copy of the change log for future reference. BJ On 1/21/2014 5:55 PM, John Maynard wrote: > At 05:59 PM 21-01-14 -0600, Rosemary Jones wrote: > > Hi Rosemary. 3. Hello BJ, Russ and others. I rang Ancestry Support today. We went through the different possibilities. Like always, they asked me if I compacted my file to Zero. I had. I also tried to see if I could replicate the problem with my test trees to see if the problem was with them as well. The one thing we both concluded was that my main Tree was Synced properly and that any deletions at FTM-2014 were reflected on my online tree. However, the count is out of whack. What's causing it, I'm not sure. But I reported the issue ... and see what tomorrow will bring. Many Thanks and Cheers.
