    3. Hmmm.... very interesting..... When you are copying the data from the census record, are you using the browser within FTM Search area? Or are you using an external browser? If from within the FTM browser, you might try it from the external browser. Also you once you copy the data, you might try pasting the information into NotePad first before you try pasting it into the FTM Place field. This is to test whether the copy is working or not. Having said that an experience I had today reminded me that on occasion, I have experienced something similar. Today I was copying the address of a web page from my external browser. I then went to FTM Source, Media Description to paste the URL but instead I pasted the information in the description but it turned out to be the source-citation data. Not what I wanted. I returned to the web page and copied the URL a second time. This time it pasted correctly. I thought I had not copied the URL the first time but after getting your comment, it occurs to me that I had gone to the target field before getting the good copy. I'll have to pay more attention to this but it is difficult because it only occurs about 1% of the time. If I think of anything else, I'll post. BJ On 1/3/2014 1:05 PM, J.
