A quick check shows it to work for my database. As a suggestion, look in the rightmost column when in the People workspace, Tree view. Under the person's Name. there is an Add Spouse ... option followed by Marriage information. If you have three lines associated with Marriage, those three are Date, then Place then Description. A quick check would reveal if data is entered in the Date box.
