    3. I'm using FTM 2011 & Windows 7 on both computers - desktop and laptop. Yes, I've registered several times - whenever asked. Yes, I'm always logged into Ancestry.com when I work on "new tree." I've compacted the file. When I click on the leaf, Ancestry shows a list of sources on the top half of the screen. I click on a source that I would like to see on the bottom right part of the screen. It doesn't appear even if I wait a long time. This only happens with the new tree. With my tree, which I've been working on many years, the Leaf/Hint/Merge process works just fine. These are two entirely different families which should not be combined. I'm working on "new tree" for a friend who has no computer & no internet. I deleted "new tree" on the desktop computer and started over. The second attempt did not work. So I installed FTM on my laptop computer and started again with a new file. I did not use the file from the desktop computer & I did not put "my file" on the laptop. I still have the same problem. 3. Nancy, Thank you. What is in the Lower Right Hand windows in the Web Search Workspace ? Your person's information is in the Lower Left, when you select the Record in the top half of the screen, right? But, what is in that lower Right box? What version of Internet Explorer is on your Computer? You do NOT have to use it, but what version is installed, as FTM2011 uses it.
