You might be right, although I hadn't encountered this problem with FTM-2012. The count on FTM and at Ancestry was always the same. However, I rang Ancestry Support yesterday. We discovered that all my deletions had taken place on my online Tree, so we surmised that the count was correct on FTM but not at Ancestry. Curious. Many Thanks and Cheers.
