I don't know if I did this before or after I did the TreeSync. But I've tried it again just now. Re. BJ's comments. Everything is still out of sync. Tree Overview says that I have 96,836 people on my Ancestry Member Tree. But in my FTM database there are 96,703 individuals. That's a difference of 133 individuals deleted, but not represented, in turn on my online Tree. I notice something amiss when the statistical table came up, telling me what changes were about to be made. In FTM-2013, deletions were no problem. I don't really know why it's not happening in FTM-2014. If the number of people in the database and in the online Tree don't correspond with each other, that means that the Trees are out of Sync with each other. I do not relish sending up a new Ancestry Tree for the sake of reconciling the two figures. Any further ideas or suggestions? - Many Thanks and Cheers. - John M. >________________________________ > From: John Maynard <[email protected]> >To: [email protected] > >Except that I've encountered one serious problem. In the options, under the tab "Names/Dates/Places" there's an option to use AKA, if available, as an additional entry in the index. Is Ancestry including the AKA's as additional people in the index? Just a thought.
