Just to ensure we are talking about the same thing. FTM 16 and earlier produced the Custom Report in a columnar format. I was a major complainer about that format because columns could not be wrapped. As a result the report was limited to about 3 columns per printed page or the information was truncated which for me made the report worthless. When they rewrote FTM they changed it so each field was printed on a new line. Unfortunately, they neglected to provide an option for producing the custom report using a columnar format. I explain this specifying "columns" because you can print the report in "landscape" orientation which is different from the column format. FTM 2014 does not correct that problem; however, FTM has offered an option to sort of produce a columnar report. It just can't be done directly. To get the information into columns do this: 1. Produce the Custom Report ensuring you include the fields and individuals you want. 2. Click the Share icon (upper right corner). 3. Select Export to CSV 4. An option box will open offering the options to Export in column format or row format. Select Column format. 5. The information will be exported to a file which can be opened by most spreadsheet programs. The information will be in columnar format. You can then use the spreadsheet to print the report. I realize this is not optimum but it does let you get the information in a columnar format.
