    3. Sorry; I may have sent this to a wrong place before. Try again. . . ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Bruce King <[email protected]> Date: Fri, Feb 14, 2014 at 5:17 PM Subject: FTM 2012 / FTM 2014 To: [email protected] I have FTM 2012 running on Windows 7 (Home Premium), on a 64bit laptop. I have an FTM database A containing an FTM sub-database B. (See below if you need to know more about A and B.) I am using BJ's instructions from his email of 29 Oct 2012 (14:55:12)--see the archives--and here are some of today's problem(s): [1] In instruction 1: "Generate the Extended Family Chart and select the option to include All Individuals" I don't encounter that option. Where is it? [2] In instruction 3: ". . . you should see isolated tree/branches and/or individuals." I don't see those [3] in Instruction 6: "Select Person and All Relations." I don't encounter that option. Where is it? The simplest explanation for this is that my version of FTM isn't the right one. Should I buy FTM 2014? Footnote: In late 2012 I raised some questions about an FTM file of about 10,000 people (file A). That database included two general components: (a) a "core" sub-tree, larger than half of A, with all people related to one another, and (b) a loose group of other people, either isolated individuals, or groups ("islands") of related people within an island, but otherwise unconnected to others. This part of A can be labeled file B. At that time, several people responded to my distress but, in the end, I did what I needed to do in a somewhat tedious but simpler way. -- /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ Bruce: [email protected] Mary: [email protected] /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ -- /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ Bruce: [email protected] Mary: [email protected] /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
