    3. No, Family TreeMaker had a project they called World Family Tree. You uploaded your tree. They put it on a CD and sold it and claimed copyright. The last I knew there were about 150 CDs. Obviously that was part of the Ancestry purchase.   Jay Thompson just an old genealogy nut too tough to crack. ________________________________ From: Nivard Ovington <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, February 3, 2014 8:20 AM Subject: Re: [FTM-TECH] Online Trees Hi Jay Do you mean worldconnect I wonder? http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 03/02/2014 13:05, Thompson Jay wrote: > Just had a thought (question) while following this thread. 2. I agree with Jay. I had every bit of my Tree documented and on World Family Tree. I wrongly assumed FTM had preserved those. Now I have to re-input all my data because FTM cannot read the disc. That is what happens when you burn out and skip a couple of updates. -----Original Message----- From: Thompson Jay <[email protected]> To: ftm-tech <[email protected]> Sent: Mon, Feb 3, 2014 2:54 pm Subject: Re: [FTM-TECH] Online Trees No, Family TreeMaker had a project they called World Family Tree.
