Thank your for your comments. I have found the only easy way to move a file whether it is from one directory on the same computer or to a new computer is to use the backup and restore technique. It involves the best way of keeping things straight especially since they have included the feature allowing the user to also restore the sync information. They have made significant improvements in the download an AMT into a new file also. Much of the data from the synced file is uploaded and stored in the AMT. Some of it is not displayable in the AMT but it is stored there in case you need to download into a new file. I used that technique when my main file was destroyed due to a hard disk crash. I had not made a backup in about a week but had performed considerable additions and edits to some individuals. I downloaded the AMT and then found that I had a lot of clean up to do in source-citations and in media information (names, captions and descriptions). Most people probably will not have as much clean up as I. I don't use Media Captions except for Photos. I use extra lines for added white space in Media Descriptions. Finally I use descriptive names for my media files e.g. US Census 1880 - Ward, James A.jpg.
