Unfortunately that meant I had to reinvite my guests, contributors and my brother who is sole 'Editor' to our Tree. It also meant getting a plethora of 'shaking leaf hints' to deal with all over again. Many of these 'Hints' were media files (photos, stories, records, etc.) which I already had in my Tree. If I accepted them I'd end up with duplicates. FTM-2014 works brilliantly, but I've had problems with my database. I finally decided the best way to fix things would be to bring my Tree(s) down from Ancestry and create new files. This method has worked for me. Everything is in place and I don't have to reinvite other or deal with a forest of 'shaking leaf hints' all over again. PLEASE NOTE: Your Ancestry Tree(s) are mirror images of your FTM Tree(s). They include everything ... even your notes, which cannot be seen by others. I still make backups from my computer, but I've decided to rely more and more on my "Backup in my Ancestry Cloud." Everyone's given you good advice. Read the article and decide the best method for you ... whether to sent new tree(s) up to Ancestry ... or send new tree(s) down to FTM-2014.
