I neglected to say that I'm running Windows 8.1 and FTM 2014 build 1260 which was the last update. One other thing is that I lost my original file due to a problem with my harddisk. I downloaded my AMT and recreated my file. I may not be observing the problem you describe because my file has been created within FTM 2014. And if you single click on the child's name (next column to the right), the parent still shows above the child list, and is outlined in the tree, but the child's information (birth, death, & spouse information--or whatever else you set up for the right column) displays in the right column. That's fine, too. It's when you double left-click on the child's name (in the list) that a problem arises. The double-click moves you to the person view for that child, but with the wrong names for the spouse and child in mini-tree at the top of that view.
While I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, I'm also running build 1260 and this file was created from scratch in 2014. I opened another file--created with earlier builds of 2014--and it acts the same way. Double clicking on a child's left-pointing arrow takes me to the person view with the mini-nav tree correct, but double-clicking on a child's name takes me there with the mini-nav tree incorrect for the children & spouse.
