Noticed a sticky problem shortly after discarding all of the emails pertaining to "deep" compacting.I am using version 22.0.0.1345. 51,000+ individuals.When I try to compact my file it gets to about 99% and crashes! I think I have found the offending couple. I have disconnected them from the rest of their family and renamed them. Reentered them and fixed all attachments, so the bad pair is an island. I think the man is the real problem. I am unable to change any of the information on him. (date of death, birth and death place) If I try, it just comes back. I have eliminated all of the wife's info, but I cannot break the marriage either by delete or detach.  When I try to compact the file, it analyses all but about 12-15 of 182,000+ facts and then hangs up for 10 seconds or so , then crashes. I have also done an uninstall/reinstall. Help! Jay Thompson just an old genealogy nut too tough to crack.
