Rosemary, This appears to be the answer. But this is terribly user unfriendly. If this is a restriction, they should show a message like: "This file is unavailable for download. Contact <THEM> to purchase a hard copy". Or something like that. I've wasted hours on this now. Because of incompetent programmers! Is it any wonder no one ever says nice things about Ancestry/FTM in my circles. John P.S. The screen capture of this record will suffice. It is insufficient for evidence of any kind, and thus not worth purchasing.
