That's a nifty trick, Courtney. I'll have to look for that when I get on my computer later on. Although my need is usually the opposite. I find a doc outside of FTM and then want to merge it via web merge. Then I can usually just copy and paste the URL. But that should be a two-way street if your trick doesn't work on a Mac. It works for me in PC version 2012. But in the Web Search, I can go to a Census image, then, directly to the left of the address bar, there is a "small icon with a drop down icon next to it" . One of the drop down options is "Open In New Window" That takes me directly to the image on Ancestry, outside of the program, which does show me the Save to Your Computer. Not sure if FTM Mac shows this same button. If it does, maybe that will work for you?
