    3. I don't have a Mac, so I have no clue why Save to Computer is not working for you from the Web search. It works for me in PC version 2012. >But in the Web Search, I can go to a Census image, then, directly to the left of the address bar, there is a "small icon with a drop down icon next to it". The small icon you describe shows Browser Options when you hover over top of it in FTM 2014. > One of the drop down options is "Open In New Window" That takes me directly to the image on Ancestry, outside of the program, which does show me the Save to Your Computer. Agree with everything else you said Courtney. John Okerson Lakeland, TN

    3. Hi John You may have missed my earlier post Regarding the OPs enquiry re no Save image to my computer Its not a fault or problem its how a particular database is set, at the behest of the database owners, who want people to buy the image from them I don't know how many of this type of database are on Ancestry but if you look at :- U.S., Sons of the American Revolution Membership Applications, 1889-1970 Try any image, you will only get the "Save to person in your tree" or "Save to your Shoebox" options If you try and use right click, save image as, you get a PNG download but no image So its irrelevant how you get to the image on Ancestry, the results are the same, so its a case of taking a screen capture or buying the image as far as I can see Other databases are unaffected as far as I can tell but there may be others with the same restrictions Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 05/03/2015 13:24, John Okerson via wrote: > I don't have a Mac, so I have no clue why Save to Computer is not working > for you from the Web search.
