I did a search on iTunes and found nothing. There is however an Ancestry app. It works by reading your online tree at Ancestry.com. There is two way synching between Ancestry.com and your iDevice. It is great for traveling. And it's free! What you saw may have been the software package for Macintosh computers, but computer software isn't usually available on iTunes.
