Mary, Have you tried to use the Find Missing Media option in the Media Workspace for those that have icons and no Thumbnails. It works quite well. I just did one on a file that had only icons for the images. All but two were found initially and running again resolved those two as well. I have consistently used the method of labeling them as last name - first middle last This is to keep them alphabetically arranged in the media file. Any thing else I want to add goes in the description field I see the problem with the jpgs, when I add them it is putting them in the 2011 media file, so now what ... strange, I guess I will have to manually move each one and relink them...
