Does FTM 2012 Build 452 actually crash or do you receive a message that the report cannot be generated? I attempted to duplicate your problem by creating a new book. I added a title page, TOC, Descendant Chart for 4 generations and an Index. When I create the index, I receive a error message the report cannot be generated. I click OK processing continues. After another 10 minutes, I receive the message a second time. I click OK. The message closes but the index is displayed. I was able to add additional reports/charts but the error occurs when I try to generate the TOC and the Index.
