If your problem is locating the places with flags, choosing 'Resolve All Place Names' brings up a list of only those with the flag, and the suggested replacement. I do NOT use the given suggestion very often, but it is an easier way to see the list of unresolved place names. What such a choice does NOT display is where you have a very similarly name place already. The only way *I* know of to find those is to scan through the entire list of place names. My list of places is down from over 30,000 to about 15,000, so YES I have spent many entire DAYS working on the list of places. What I am doing with Ancestry.com's hints keeps creating new unresolved places when I miss them. I find that they are there by seeing the unusual place name displayed in the list of choices and then go to Places to repair them! Hope that idea helps. John Okerson
