All in all, that sounds pretty drastic in the way I manage my file. Since I use the file on my computer as the Primary. I'll stick with it. New invitations isn't to major a thing to do. Additionally, unless you have Captions assigned to all of your AMT media images, the new file names will be generic numbered files. If any of your media file types are HTML or MTHL, you will lose them. They were probably uploaded as RTF file types. Any media items linked to relationships or shared between husband/wife, will be lost. Instead the image will be downloaded and linked to the two individuals but as individual links. Any media items linked to sources (source titles) will be lost. Any Notes linked to facts, Source-citations, Sources and Media items will be lost. When I've downloaded a tree from an AMT, I have not been satisfied with the resultant PC file. So my preference is to maintain my data in the PC file and upload to the AMT. I suggest you download the AMT file and then look at it to see which you prefer. Could you tell what caused your link to disappear? Before the latest update I had two FTM trees linked/synced with two AMTs; but then the syncs failed even though the links were maintained. After I unlinked them I could not load the FTM trees up nor load the AMT down....until the new update which solved all those problems. However since the new update I have lost the sync on four occasions. Twice when the 21000 person FTM tree crashed while doing a merge of individuals (150) from another FTM tree. Once when the index went to 0 after a merge and after hours of it appearing to reset I turned the programme off...while it was trying to reindex the Plan view still showed 21000 in the tree and I had access to all the tabs. And now I have one in process where for 40 hours a sync process has been "Validating data" although the Total Processing bar green line has been complete for 36 hours and the media processing green bar is also full. Can't use any buttons, tabs or even exit the tree. Ultimately I will have to close it with Windows Task Manager, but I am being excessively patient as I have already invested so much time in re-uploading and syncing tree after tree. The only saving grace is I do back ups to the point of paranoia, at least I used to think it was paranoia :o) Garnet. Have no idea what happened that could have caused the sync break.
