The first thing to do is to click on the person you want to change. This displays the individual's preferred facts in the right pane which is also called the Information pane. If the fact is displayed in the right (information) pane, you can make the change in that pane. If it is not shown in the right pane, click the Person Tab. This changes to a work area similar to the FTM 16 Edit Individual dialog box. All of the facts for the focal individual are displayed and you can make any changes by selecting the fact and making the change in the right pane. The thing to watch out for is the removal of a fact from the list. If you want to remove a fact, you select the fact in the left pane. Just above the pane there is a Red X next to a Blue +. Clicking that Red X deletes the fact. PLEASE DO NOT CONFUSE it with the the icon of a person's head and delete in the top right corner. Clicking that icon DELETES THE INDIVIDUAL. You can use the Mini-Nav (partial pedigree chart at the top of the work area to navigate or change the focus to other individuals in the family. I hope that answers your question.
