    3. You can create a GEDCOM from 2012, and you can choose not to export private notes to that GEDCOM. However, it appears you have not designated the notes as private. Note that you can designate your tree on Ancestry.com as a private tree, but that doesn't appear to satisfy your request either. You have the option to Upload your file and Link your PC file to it (this is called Syncing) or you have the option to upload your file without linking it to your PC file. But in both cases, everything in your file is uploaded including any notes.
