It's a problem for me: a) Duplicates mess up the places and maps on my website: www.carosfamily.com/places.php. b) If I don't remove the duplicates within FTM they become triplicates and even quadruplicates. I have no desire to double or treble the size of my place list. c) When adding a new fact, I don't want to be presented with two or more versions of the same place to choose from. I agree and I'm not saying the problem is acceptable. I always eliminate any duplicates I have.
