It certainly is possible, and easy too. Have her go to the Plan workspace, then New Tree. Select the third round button labeled Download from Ancestry. That searches Ancestry.com for the files of which she is Owner. Choose the correct file, and to the far right she will find the Available Action to be Download. Do so, and FTM 2012 springs into action downloading and linking her Ancestry tree to a new FTM tree on her computer.
