He is talking about FTM 2012 which is the first version of FTM to offer blended families. As I recall FTM 16 and earlier will only show the children of two marriages IF you elect to attach the children of the previous marriage to the subsequent marriage. This is not exactly the same thing as the FTM 2012 Blended Family feature.
