Go to the Plan work area and use the sign in option located on the Dashboard. Once you have signed in, you should remain signed in until you elect to logoff. Being signed on via FTM 2012 does not mean you are signed on if you visit www.ancestry.com through your browser. If you go directly to the web site, you may need to sign on there. In both cases, once signed on, you remain signed on until you elect to sign out. One thing to watch are your cookies. It may be that you are blocking cookies which may preclude you remaining signed in. Good luck. Thanks, BJ. I made sure I was signed in to Ancestry in the Plan work area and in Web Search. I then closed FTM 2012. When I reopened it, I was still signed in on the Plan workspace and able to access all Ancestry services from there. I was also able to sync my tree with Ancestry. However, when I went to do a Web Search I was shown as not signed in to Ancestry. I'm not sure how it is possible to be signed in for one area of the program and not for another, but it's happening to me!
