    3. If you are asking whether there is some way to link FTM facts or source-citations to a media item on an internet web site, the answer is no. Even with those Census or other images available from Ancestry.com data bases, the user/program must download a copy of the image and link the copy to the fact/source-citation. Now is there any way to save the web address of the web image? Not directly except for those inserted by the Web Merge Wizard; however, I copy the web address using Windows copy feature. I then paste the address into the image copy's description field. It is not a hot link but at least I can now return to the web page and the image on the internet. Hope that helps. 3. BJ, I know this, but the OP implied that they were, by using the question " What if not all of my media items came from Ancestry. E.g.: Find My Past; Ellis Island; GRO; and so on, will they be uploaded to the AMT?" I am trying to get verification that the OP thinks that they are linked? 3. I think he was attempting to clarify what images were uploaded vs which are not. I mentioned that images from Ancestry.com data bases are not suppose to be uploaded to the AMT. He was attempting to verify whether the images from these other online data bases would be uploaded or not. The replies were reassuring him that images from those other online data bases would be uploaded. You are correct that they are all copies and not active physical links to the other data bases. In actuality you have one copy of the image on your PC and a second copy of the image in the AMT. Cross checking which images are uploaded can be very challenging because they are treated differently. Some things that you may think of as photos in your PC file are classified as other types in the AMT. The most notable of these is the PDF file. It may contain a photo but it is uploaded and classified as a "Story". Certain types of files will not be uploaded including HTML and MHT files. Some media types are converted. For example, FTM 2012 will accept most image file types: TIF, BMP, PNG, etc. However, when they are uploaded to the AMT they are all converted to a JPG file. As I recall a MHT file will be converted to a RTF file.
