    3. Weirder and weirder. The Ancestry.com search screen in Web Search shows me as logged out. If I click on "Open in New Window" from the drop down menu next to Address, the new window that opens shows me as logged in. For the time being, that is obviously the workaround for my problem. I just don't understand why something that worked fine in FTM 2010 and FTM 2011 doesn't work in FTM 2012. I will check my cookies for Ancestry but don't see why they would affect just this one part of the program and not the whole program. 2. Try flushing the cache and history on your browser. It may be confused. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Caroline Gurney" <caroline.gurney@gmail.com> To: ftm-tech@rootsweb.com Sent: Monday, November 28, 2011 8:16:26 PM Subject: Re: [FTM-TECH] FTM 2012 web search requires Ancestry log in every session Weirder and weirder. 3. This turns out to have been a bug within FTM 2012 which has been fixed by the recent upgrade. Ancestry list under General Improvements: Login—fixed Web Search login issue. I can confirm that Web Search now works properly for me. Caroline Gurney www.carosfamily.com www.cmgurney.blogspot.com
