It looks like you have a bad CD device. Are you using Windows 7 64-bit? Do you have the latest drivers for the CD drive. Is it a CD or a DVD drive? It looks like you have a bad CD device. Are you using Windows 7 64-bit? Do you have the latest drivers for the CD drive. Is it a CD or a DVD drive? It could be that the drive is merely disconnected, but with a notebook, it would require technical assistance to work on it IMHO.
