    3. The problem with using a FBC file in dropbox is it must be restored before it can be used. If you are using FTM 2012 and the file is synced, restoring a backup file breaks the link between the two trees. The thing to remember is the dropbox approach is actually like creating an off-site back up of your file. You need to remember that using that file with two or more computers, it is mandatory that you close the file and allow the update to dropbox BEFORE you open the file in the second computer. You want to make sure you are using the latest update of the file. Judy's steps are excellent for using the Dropbox process with FTM 2012 and its synced trees.
