" MacFamily Tree."????? I think that "Reunion for the Mac" (http://www.leisterpro.com/) has been the definitive program for the Mac. Up until FTM for the Mac, it was the only program that GUM sold and still sells in Australia for the Mac Whether FTM for Mac will give it a run for its money is yet to be seen. What a shame that the only genealogy program that can take full advantage of it is MacFamily Tree. The point is that whilst Ancestry ought to get round to raisng the minimum specs to 2GB taking the total above 3GB will not really help unless you are multi-tasking to the extreme. FTM both Windows and Mac is 32bit and cannot address the additonal Ram above around 3.5. JDD. The solution is 64 bit which is supported by FTM If you have a large database and want to use FTM you will encounter performance problems. Tony
Yes. Published by Synium. It is I believe the only 64 bit program in the gallery. Available direct, via stores or by download from the AppStore. Sadly FTM for Mac has a severe memory management problem.
