If you find a Place Name in the Places List, you can click on one of the people with that specific listing on the right side of the screen. In the Person Tab for that person, you can click on the specific place name, and modify/resolve it to put part of the existing place name into the Description Field, and have that edit apply to all of the listings with that specific form. More trouble, but you get the place name and the description fields edited the way you want. BTW, my file currently has 25,000+ Place Names that are flagged, so I am working with them a few at a time. I am working on removing the description portion of place names, and have done so to a considerable extent. Even so, when I start typing in a place name within 2012, the PNA suggests a considerable list (a good thing) but with more characters than I can reconcile visually. Do either of you actually use the suggested PNA place to click on for entry??

Are you saying that you have some way of ascertaining just how many of your Place Names have the FLAG mark - OR - are you saying you have 25,000 place names? I can see where to count that Place names, and am down to 20,0XX. I would like to know just how many of those are flagged though. Is there a secret to knowing?
