That is weird! I'm using FTM 2012 running under Windows 7 Pro. I just tested the logins with the following results. * First I opened my external browser, went to Ancestry.com and Signed out. * Next I went to the Plan work area and used the Dashboard to Log out. * I clicked on Search option. Search opened to the new search window with the current individual. I clicked Search. * The Web Search work area listed a number of matches. Clicking on one of the matches, I looked at the lower right corner pane which normally displays the record's information. This time it showed a screen I've never seen before. Basically it is a screen telling me I'm not logged in and that I'm missing opportunities. If I scroll down the pane, I eventually reach a Log in link. * I clicked the login link and was presented with a login screen. I logged in and the pane changed showing the information. I returned to the Plan work area and found the dashboard also logged in. I went to Ancestry.com using my external browser, I was not logged in. So my conclusions are: 1. If I am not logged in, I can perform the free searches i.e. basic search for matches but I cannot see the details. 2. If i am logged in via the Dashboard, I can perform the searches and see the details. BJ On 11/28/2011 5:16 PM, Caroline Gurney wrote: > Weirder and weirder.
