    3. The easiest way of doing it is 1. Click Edit, Manage Facts 2. Review each fact - at the bottom of the dialog box it gives the following information: Fact label Short label Abbreviation Fact type Tells you whether it is Individual/Shared and Predefined/Custom Fact elements Lists the elements you have selected to be displayed. 3. I never noticed that the distinction between custom and pre-defined shows up there. Thanks, BJ! 3. As I was cleaning up some facts today, I stumbled upon the 'custom' facts under Manage Facts as you describe below. I saw that I had some duplicate facts. Example, Funeral. One was labeled predefined and one was labeled custom By selecting 'data options', I could see what records were associated with the custom fact. Selecting the 'funeral' fact labeled custom, I checked 'change selected facts of this fact type' and picked 'funeral' from the list. All of the records are now associated with the predefined 'funeral' fact. I deleted the custom 'funeral' fact. I don't know how the custom facts came into being, but I've had FTM for many, many years, so I probably added them at some point in history. 3. If you start with Delete for the Custom fact, it gives you the option to move data to one of the other Facts.
