    3. Open the source file. Go to "File, Export". At this time you can select the new file type from the drop down on the right. Select "Selected Individuals". Select the starting person. Select "Descendents". OK Thanks, David C Abernathy Email disclaimers ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This message represents the official view of the voices in my head. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.SchmeckAbernathy.com == All outgoing and incoming mail is scanned by F-Prot Antivirus  == -----Original Message----- From: ftm-tech-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:ftm-tech-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Jack Crawford Sent: Tuesday, August 02, 2011 11:08 AM To: ftm-tech@rootsweb.com Subject: [FTM-TECH] Making 2 files from one Hi I am using FTM 2011 and Windows 7 premium I have a file with 3 large families from 3 different persons. Would I be able to make a file just including one of the persons and his descendants? How would I do this?
