I've installed FTM 2012on a computer using Windows Vista Home Premium. I've also linked and synched my tree to Ancestry. The first problem is that when I select People/Family to view the Index, it keeps working and working and working. I've had to shut the program down twice, but the problem doesn't go away when I attempt to view the Index. Any suggestions? Tom Herson Ithaca, NY

My guess would be that you waited a good, long while and that the spinning circle (only way I know to describe the pending process indicator) was still revolving. Correct? How much physical RAM do you have with your machine? As you would already know, the larger the number of people within your tree, the longer it seems to take. John Okerson from Memphis, TN

I have not been able to sort children in Version 2012 since I installed it yesterday. Running Windows 7, People 60,000 plus file size 145,780 kb. Also it runs really really slow, so did 2011.
