She did the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional, and it is definitely not a netbook. I have run 2012 on a LOW powered NetBook, with Starter and 1 Gig of RAM, it was slow but it did work. So since they have a Windows 7 Pro and 3 Gigs of RAM you should NOT have issues. Sounds like 2012 is going to be your best bet. If she decides to pursue 2012 on this machine, I have suggested she check www.crucial.com to see IF she can add more RAM. Thanks for the encouragement. John
