    3. Gordon, What is the path of these files and type of files? When renaming them are you by chance also changing or dropping the extensions of these files? Are you doing these changes within Windows Explorer (My Computer) or some other program?     3. Gordon, These files are embedded or are they linked to your FTM 16 file? It has been a LONG time since I have seen version 16, I do not remember how these images are handled. I would NOT do any more renaming as this is messing up all of the internal links to these images. As suggested, I would upgrade to 2012 and then the images will be separate files within a media folder. Gordon - have you given serious consideration to moving to FTM 2012 as it would allow your database to shed the media files from the database itself! This would significantly reduce the size of the file you open and copy as you exit, thus improving those speed items. Just a thought for you.
