Well, at least it is back working for me this morning. I think they may not have figured the load on their system caused by Syncing all of these trees. FTM does not even open the Dashboard this morning. BUT, 2010 and 2011 the Dashboard opens and logs in. Ancestry must be having major server problems. BUT, I can click on a "Hint" (leaf) and the 'About blank" opens and then the hint list is displayed. I am also getting the following when going to a Ancestry.com forum with FTM open. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- "It appears that you are logged in on another computer. We weren't able to log you in to Ancestry.com because your account is currently being used on another computer. Your Ancestry account provides a single-user license and can only be accessed by one person at a time." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- We ran into this during BETA and it took a day or so to fix. Last evening I began to have trouble connecting to Ancestry using FTM 2011. First time I have run into this issue. My guess is that it is due to the many people who received 2012, loaded it and this new Sync process is tying up the servers. Hopefully the rush will be over with soon. I have 2012 but I am not installing it yet because I am working at cleaning up all of my tree data. I only have about 1800 people in the database but it is a chore reviewing one person at a time. It will be worth it though, in the long run, because I am able, now, to delete a lot of the non sourced data that I obtained from years passed. My trees should be much better off when I am finished and maybe I will have far fewer problems when I do load 2012.
