I'm not sure I understand your question. When you say "I rename a file copy...", are you talking about the backup or are you saying you make a copy of your data file which you then rename to "Jones_30Oct11"? The other question is "This time it failed to move Scrapbook images." In FTM 16, Scrapbook images are embedded in the file. There is no "movement". The scrapbooks are automatically "copied" when you make a copy of the file. I would check the original file to ensure the scrapbook images are present there.
