I received v2012 today. It loaded with no problem. However, I was disappointed to see that everything looked the same. The only difference I have seen so far is the Sync feature which I'm not all that excited about. Is there something else that I may have missed? Ali

The sync is the main enhancement in FTM 2012. There are a couple of other relatively minor enhancements. 1. Anyone who has children from multiple marriages, the user has the option to show just the children of each marriage or to show a "blended" view listing all children of all marriages. It is a small icon on the People, Family work area. It looks something like # just above the children. It toggles off and on. 2. The Descendant chart now allows the user to show all descendants of an individual or to show the descendants down to a specified individual. On the Publish, Descendant Chart it is an option in the right pane labeled "Descendants" with a drop down arrow. Clicking the arrow displays a list of eligible descendants of the focus individual. 3. The Outline Descendant Report has also been changed but I don't recall how. If you click Help, Help for Family Tree Maker, there is an article of "Whats New in FTM". Hope that answers your question.
