I've watched all nine of the tutorials and noticed a change in the layout of the right hand column on the Person tab in the People view. In FTM 2011 there are tabs for Sources, Media and Notes for each Fact. The screenshots in the tutorials only show one tab - Sources. I've read that FTM 2012 will have the choice of a modified interface for people upgrading from FTM 16 and earlier. I really hope that these tutorials are showing that modified interface and that the Media and Notes tabs for each Fact have not, in fact, been removed. I did not notice this layout change in the public beta versions of FTM 2012. Caroline Gurney Family History Website: www.carosfamily.com Family History Blog: cmgurney.blogspot.com
Caroline Yes, you are correct. However I would have thought that the tutorials were prepared well before build 372 of the Beta and such a significant change would not be made between the final Beta build and the RTM (Released to Manufacturing) version.
