I wonder if I could ask, without upsetting anyone, to query whether this list, which about the use of FTM, could do without a series of "me too" emails which seem to be a reflection in the US postal service and Ancestry's dispatch system. No doubt worthy subjects but possibly not on topic for this list? If everyone on the list reports the arrival of their software, we are up for a period of very uninteresting posts. It seems a bit removed from the list's purpose? Just one person's plea John Donaldson
I am away from home, and would love to hear how folks feel about 2012, particularly anyone who had been using FTM 16 like myself! The blended family reports should be a very nice touch, likewise the single page sheets showing connections between two individuals. I am quite interested in the conversion speeds per record to come into 2012 format as well as the ability to handle LARGE data sets - my file has about 134K folks and in 16 was about 470M, but that included media so would be similar to the .ftmb file I suppose.
