I had just ordered my 2012 upgrade earlier today with a 40% discount online when I read this - came to $28.99. I called customer assistance to see what the deal was and if I could get the additional 20%. Was told by the operator - after checking with his supervisor, that the extra 20% was a random email and only applied to a lucky few. Said the only further cost savings I could have gotten was if I had ordered over the phone - then they would wave the shipping - $5.00. So I cancelled my first order and ordered by phone and saved the $5.00 shipping. Was also told they would be shipping in late September or early October. Ginger, Good to know when it will be shipped. I didn't get an e-mail with the 20% offer, but before I ordered FTM 2012 I Googled 'coupon codes for Ancestry' and found the coupon code for a 20% discount from the Ancestry store. I tried it at checkout and it worked. I usually do this before I order from Ancestry because they often have something special going on. I'm glad you got the shipping charges waived. That is a piece of info that I didn't know...if you call in your order, they will pick up shipping.
