Work around: 1. Paste Duplicate Source works for Name if you are in the Person Tab View, rather than in the Family Tab View 2. While you are in the Person Tab View, Copy the Source for the Name Fact. Once you copy it in the Person View, it will work in the Family view without a problem. If there was an adoption, it would be easy enough to document. I don't think this problem has been addressed before on this site. If it has then I've missed it. Over 40 years ago a family member gave her child up for adoption. Five years later, she married the father of the child and they went on to have two more children. Now after all these years they have all found each other and the secret was revealed. Now I'm pondering on how to enter this child into the family tree? He has a new surname and a family of his own. Suggestions please. Ali
