I managed to replace a note, but a story is not transferrable. There are no details on either the headstones or the documents, it is just a media file. There are just too many items that need to be fixed. I am shelving this software for the moment, will continue with my old tree on Ancestry and will use PAW2U for an occasional GEDCOM backup. It just takes too much time to get it all fixed. I rather spend that time researching. I think the misunderstanding with FTM is that most people think (me included) that it is an extension of ancestry when it is really a companion software. Thank you for your help Russ!
